Роскомнадзор проверит онлайн-магазины на предмет выполнения требований закона "О персональных данных". Такое поручение сотрудникам дал глава ведомства Александр Жаров.

По его словам, ведомство намерено запросить у компаний, работающих в сфере интернет-торговли, как они обрабатывают персональные данные. Если проверка выявит "злонамеренные действия" с персональными данными российских пользователей, то Роскомнадзор предпримет "исчерпывающие действия" совместно с "компетентными органами".

"Если учесть, что, по разным оценкам, от 5 млн до 7 млн компаний предоставляют российским гражданам услугу электронной коммерции, там поле непаханое. Поэтому я сконцентрировал внимание коллег на этой деятельности", – отметил Жаров.

Глава Роскомнадзора добавил, то регулятор намерен проверить и зарубежные магазины. По его словам, в ведомстве уже приступили к таким проверкам и даже "кого-то наказали". Однако названия проверенных и наказанных компаний Жаров не уточнил.

Поправки к закону "О персональных данных", которые требуют локализации персональных данных на территории России, вступили в силу в сентябре 2015 года. Согласно требованиям закона, любая российская или зарубежная компания, ориентированная на работу с российскими пользователями, должна обеспечивать запись, систематизацию, накопление, хранение, уточнение персональных данных россиян с использованием баз данных, находящихся на территории РФ.
